Gum Clear are a company that specialise in the deep cleaning and removal of chewing gum from surfaces. The company was setup by Martin Whitbread after a conversation with a friend one evening about why people didn’t try to clean chewing gum off the floor. Six years later Gum Clear is now the leader in its field supplying services to councils, UK and foreign businesses as far wide as Africa. They have just finished developing a all-in-one mobile cleaning system for councils and private enterprise.

Martin contacted us during the final stages of development of the new system and wanted us to document the construction process from the building and installation of the engine, water and water recycling units by English businesses, to Gum Clear’s specialist training session and finally the before and after effects of using the specialised equipment.

The job consisted of five shoots in five different locations across the south of England and took six weeks to complete.
